Meet Melanie M. Birck, Au.D
Audiologist
Melanie M Birck, AuD is licensed in Maryland as a Doctor of Audiology and specializes in pediatric audiology. Dr. Birck is a member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association and the American Academy of Audiology. She worked in a variety of clinics including The Children’s Seashore House of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Ear Medical Group and Ears of Texas, The George Washington University, and Kaiser Permanente. At these locations, she was able to test all ages of individuals, be in the operating room during surgeries, provide cochlear implant mapping, vestibular testing, electrophysiologic testing, and hearing aids for children and adults. She also had the opportunity to teach Speech Language Pathology students about the importance of hearing and knowing how it can affect the therapy they provide.
Meet Julie Rorrer, Au.D
Audiologist
Dr. Julie Rorrer is licensed in Maryland as a Doctor of Audiology. She grew up in Olney, and graduated from Sherwood High School. She obtained her degree as a Doctor of Audiology from A.T. Still University. Dr. Rorrer is a member of American Speech Language and Hearing Association. Prior to opening Olney Family Hearing, she worked for a total of 10 years in private practice settings and a medical-based clinical setting at Kaiser Permanente. Dr. Rorrer is an expert in hearing aid fittings, and has a strong foundation in diagnosing complicated medical issues for all ages, specializing in pediatric audiology.
